Joshua, born in Thousand Oaks, CA, is an avid explorer, both within the scenic landscapes of Utah and across the globe. Notable family adventures include navigating a double-wide stroller through Japan and a historical tour of Cuba.
Professionally, Joshua has traveled extensively, including visits to Oxford, Prague, and Cartagena.
Joshua's oldest son, an enthusiastic reader, has exhausted his Kindle on the daily walk to school. Both of his sons participate in mixed martial arts, coached by former MMA contender J. Burkman. Joshua's daughter excels in gymnastics, and all children are proficient in playing the ukulele and speaking Spanish.
Outside family life, Joshua enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, volleyball, and reading.
A top performer in economics in both California and University, Joshua served as President of the board for the Children’s Justice Center’s 501(c)(3) (Under the District Attorney’s office) until November 2022. His volunteerexperience includes roles such as Vice President of a Kiwanis International branch, Spanish linguist for the United States Naval Mobile Construction Group, and Committee Member at Primary Children’s Hospital. He currently volunteers for the CFP Board as a Committee Member.
Joshua's partner and brother, Roy, played a pivotal role in his journey, from purchasing Joshua's first car to aiding his university enrollment. Together, they founded Everspire in 2006—an independent firm committed to the fiduciary standard, shaping its culture, performance, attitudes, and partnerships.
