Joshua was born in Thousand Oaks, CA. He met his wife, Amelia, in 2007. She is a successful entrepreneur and artist. Both Joshua and his wife travel extensively for their respective professions. In the last year, they have been to Japan, Canada (x2), Mexico (x2), and the EU (x2), etc. As of this post, they had just returned from a historical tour of Cuba. They have three children. His oldest son enjoys rugby, violin, and learning Spanish. His daughter loves ballet, the color pink, and violin. His newborn will most likely enjoy something other than sleep and milk eventually. In a past life, void of diapers and lessons, Joshua enjoyed Russian literature, scuba, and board sports. Joshua hopes to learn to sail, the French language, and resume riding horses.

Joshua is passionate about education, economics, and giving back. His children receive a bilingual Montessori educations, he was a top performer in economics in both CA and at University, and he serves as the President of the board for the Children’s Justice Center’s 501(c)(3). Previously, his volunteer experience included Vice President of a branch of Kiwanis International, volunteer as a Spanish linguist for United States Naval Mobile Construction Group, and Committee Member at Primary Children’s Hospital.

Joshua can’t say enough good things about his partner and brother. Roy purchased Joshua’s first car with his student loan funds (a ‘77 Chrysler Newport), signed him up for University, and helped him launch his business. Roy started in the financial industry in 1998 and, after becoming disenchanted with standard industry practice and its many conflicts of interest, he and Joshua founded Everspire in 2006 as a completely independent firm committed to the fiduciary standard. This ethic has shaped the company’s culture, performance, attitudes, and partnerships. Everspire is a Registered Investment Advisor that manages money globally for institutions, business owners, households, and other financial advisors.
